We are seeing more listings, but less sales in these neighborhoods as we move closer to the slow sales season. Of the six new listings in the area, two seem to be fairly priced, but we are not seeing any great deals. One listing is claiming historical significance, but if the potential buyer is willing to pay a super premium price is yet to be seen.
Expect slow sales activities due to affordability reasons and seasonal variations – potential buyers for these markets will either not qualify for loans, or will demand something more modern for their dollars. Fall and winter tend to historically be slower sales periods, though it doesn’t usually cause sellers to reduce prices.
